Black Label Trading Company Cigars: Blends, Tobacco and Vitolas
Black Label Trading Company produces its cigars at Fábrica Oveja Negra in Estelí, Nicaragua. Nicaraguan tobacco appears throughout the portfolio, but the individual lines are differentiated by wrapper and binder choices that include Ecuadorian Corojo, Ecuadorian Sun Grown, Ecuadorian Habano, Ecuadorian Maduro, Mexican San Andrés, Honduran tobacco, and several Broadleaf components.
BLTC also works across a relatively focused range of boutique cigar formats. Corona, Robusto, Toro, Lancero and Gran Toro sizes recur throughout the core portfolio, while limited and specialty releases introduce Petite Corona, box-pressed and other less common formats. The blend differences are often substantial even when two cigars share the same general vitola.

Black Label Royalty
Black Label Royalty uses an Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper over a Honduran binder and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos. That three-country construction separates Royalty from BLTC blends built around Ecuadorian Habano, Sun Grown, Maduro or Mexican San Andrés wrappers.
Royalty has been produced in Corona, Robusto, Toro and larger Gran Toro formats. The recurring sizes make the line useful for comparing changes in ring gauge while retaining the same wrapper, binder and filler combination.
Black Label Last Rites
Last Rites is one of the original Black Label Trading Company blends and remains part of the brand's core portfolio. It is produced at Fábrica Oveja Negra and is offered in several traditional sizes, including Robusto and Toro formats.
Special versions such as Last Rites Viaticum have used modified proportions and primings rather than simply changing the cigar's dimensions. Viaticum, for example, uses an Ecuadorian Maduro wrapper, Honduran Habano binder and Nicaraguan and Honduran filler tobaccos.
Black Label Bishop's Blend
Bishop's Blend is a limited-release BLTC line first introduced in 2016. The traditional blend uses an Ecuadorian Maduro wrapper over an Ecuador Habano binder with Nicaraguan, Pennsylvania and Connecticut Broadleaf filler tobaccos.
The blend has also appeared in revised editions. The 2026 release uses a double-wrapper presentation combining Ecuadorian Maduro and Connecticut Broadleaf, while retaining Ecuador Habano binder and a filler blend containing Nicaraguan, Connecticut and Pennsylvania Broadleaf tobaccos.
Black Label Salvation
Black Label Salvation combines an Ecuadorian Sun Grown wrapper with a Honduran binder and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos. The blend provides a useful contrast with Royalty, which changes both the wrapper and binder while retaining Nicaraguan filler.
Salvation has been produced in Robusto, Toro and larger Gran Toro formats. BLTC also added a 5 x 50 Robusto Real to the core line, expanding the size range without changing the basic blend identity.
Black Label Lawless
Black Label Lawless uses an Ecuadorian Habano Rosado wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos. Its largely Nicaraguan interior distinguishes it from Royalty and Salvation, both of which use Honduran binders.
Lawless is offered in several familiar BLTC sizes, including Robusto Real, Toro and Gran Toro formats. This makes it possible to compare different ring gauges while maintaining the same Ecuadorian Habano and Nicaraguan tobacco structure.
Black Label Santa Muerte
Santa Muerte uses an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper and Ecuadorian Habano binder over a multinational filler blend that includes Nicaraguan, Dominican and San Andrés tobaccos. The line returned to BLTC's core portfolio after previously appearing as a limited release.
The filler composition makes Santa Muerte structurally different from simpler Nicaraguan-centered blends such as Lawless. Rather than relying primarily on wrapper changes, Santa Muerte combines several tobacco origins within the filler itself.
Black Label Morphine
Morphine is distinguished by its use of two Maduro wrapper leaves. The blend combines a Mexican San Andrés Maduro outer wrapper with Ecuadorian Maduro beneath it, followed by a Nicaraguan Habano binder and Honduran and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos.
The original Morphine release was produced in Corona and Lancero formats. Its dual-wrapper construction remains one of the clearest technical differences between Morphine and the more conventional single-wrapper blends in the BLTC portfolio.
Black Label Super Deluxe
Super Deluxe uses a Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper over an Ecuadorian Habano binder and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos. The blend was originally released in 2020 and later returned in limited production.
Recent Super Deluxe releases have included box-pressed Petite Corona, Robusto and Toro formats. The Mexican San Andrés wrapper distinguishes the line from BLTC cigars using Ecuadorian Corojo, Habano or Sun Grown wrappers.
Black Label Coffin Nails
Coffin Nails is built around a compact 5 x 40 Petite Corona format. The blend uses an Ecuadorian Habano Maduro wrapper over a Honduran binder with Honduran and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos.
Unlike BLTC lines offered across multiple ring gauges, Coffin Nails was developed around the smaller Petite Corona format itself. That makes size an important part of the cigar's identity rather than simply one option within a larger vitola range.
